Hon Casey Costello: I am advised that this finding by Sapere is one of the key reasons for Health New Zealand undertaking its Aged Care Funding and Service Models Review as a key component of a comprehensive response. The review aims to, over time, improve the sustainability, accessibility and quality of services available and ensure equity of access and outcomes through the delivery of services which are culturally sensitive and cater to the diverse backgrounds of the aging population.
