80557 (2024). Arena Williams to the Minister for Media and Communications: Further to 75693, what policy and other decisions that impact the postal services market, if any, does the Minister intend to take in the coming months?

Hon Paul Goldsmith: Submissions on the discussion document, ‘Moving Towards a Financially Sustainable Mail Service’ closed on 10 December 2024. The Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment is considering submissions and I expect to receive advice on the future of the Deed of Understanding between NZ Post and the Crown in the new year.
