Hon Jo Luxton to the Associate Minister of Agriculture: What information, if any, has been brought to the minister’s attention under the no surprises principle outlined in item 4.2 of the Cabinet Office circular on the consultation arrangements for this Government since 27 November 2023, listed by agency, subject, and date, and if any of that information is withheld, on what grounds is it being withheld?

Hon Andrew Hoggard: The Member asks about Cabinet Office Circular CO (24) 2. Paragraph 4.2 states that the relationships between parties will be guided by the “no surprises” principle. Any concerns raised in accordance with the “no surprises” principle would be raised with coalition parties, not Ministers.
