Hon Tama Potaka: Under the ‘no surprises’ convention, as set out in Cabinet Office circular CO (24) 2: National, ACT and New Zealand First Coalition Government: Consultation and Operating Arrangements, the Ministry of Housing and Urban Development may consult with me or my office prior to releasing material under the Official Information Act 1982, through press releases or other media communications, or through the proactive release or publication of information on their website. I do not keep a log or record of each such consultation.
