79256 (2024). Dr Tracey McLellan to the Minister of Health: What is the anticipated date of completion of the 'Deliver' project phase of the 'Special Care Baby Unit and Maternity Facilities Upgrade, Hutt Hospital', as part of Te Whatu Ora's Infrastructure and Investment projects?

Hon Dr Shane Reti: I am advised that this project is anticipated to reach practical completion in April 2027. Please note, forecasted completion dates may be subject to change based on various factors, including system/cost pressures, necessary approvals, etc. There are key stage dates where accuracy of an estimate is enhanced, these are generally at business case decision, at the end of each design phase and main contract award.
