79040 (2024). Dr Tracey McLellan to the Minister of Health: What is the anticipated date of completion of the 'Deliver' project phase of the 'Rural Primary Birthing Unit Construction, Wanaka and Clyde', as part of Te Whatu Ora's Infrastructure and Investment projects?

Hon Dr Shane Reti: I am advised the Wānaka Primary Birthing Unit reached practical completion in July 2024. I am further advised that the anticipated practical completion of the Clyde Primary Birthing Unit project is November 2026. Please note, forecasted completion dates may be subject to change based on various factors, including system/cost pressures, necessary approvals, etc. There are key stage dates where accuracy of an estimate is enhanced, these are generally at business case decision, at the end of each design phase and main contract award.
