78984 (2024). Dr Lawrence Xu-Nan to the Associate Minister of Education: Can the Minister confirm that the new contract(s) with suppliers for the reformed Ka Ora, Ka Ako programme contains a requirement that meals must meet the nutritional guidelines developed for the programme in 2022; if not, why not?

Hon David Seymour: All contracts require compliance with nutritional guidance, any agreed minimum weight volumes and standard special dietary requirements, such as common allergens and ethical and cultural needs (dairy, vegetarian, vegan, halal), as advised by the Ministry of Education. This is also my response to written parliamentary question 78985 (2024).
