78983 (2024). Dr Lawrence Xu-Nan to the Associate Minister of Education: What changes, if any, to the Performance Management Plan process will there be for The School Lunch Collective?

Hon David Seymour: I am advised by the Ministry of Education (the Ministry) that service delivery management, including Service Improvement Plans where appropriate, is part of the refreshed and updated contract management framework currently being developed to support the effective management of all suppliers in the Ka Ora, Ka Ako programme. The contract with the School Lunch Collective includes clear service delivery expectations and newly defined performance standards. The contract is supported by a robust governance structure to provide oversight, accountability, and effective risk and issue management.
