78972 (2024). Hon Jo Luxton to the Minister for Biosecurity: Were there any changes farm support services as a result of Budget 2024 and/or job losses at MPI?

Hon Andrew Hoggard: I am advised that as a result of Budget 2024, the Ministry for Primary Industries has not made any reductions to frontline services and statutory roles, such as veterinarians, animal welfare, forestry managers, fishery and food compliance officers, or biosecurity teams at the border.
