Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister of Health: Since November 2023, in how many instances has a conflict of interest resulted in a candidate being declined for a Crown board appointment in a ministry, department or agency for which the Minister is responsible, and if this information is withheld, on what grounds is it being withheld?

Hon Dr Shane Reti: I am advised that there have been no instances where a conflict of interest has resulted in a candidate being declined for appointment to a Crown entity board for which I am responsible as Minister of Health.
