Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister for Emergency Management and Recovery: Since November 2023, in how many instances has a conflict of interest resulted in a candidate being declined for a Crown board appointment in a ministry, department or agency for which the Minister is responsible, and if this information is withheld, on what grounds is it being withheld?

Hon Mark Mitchell: The National Emergency Management Agency is a departmental agency hosted by the Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet (DPMC). The Prime Minister is the Responsible Minister for DPMC. I refer the member to the Prime Minister’s response to Written Parliamentary Question 78937 (2024).
