78730 (2024). Hūhana Lyndon to the Associate Minister of Housing: Did the Minister seek consultation from iwi or hapu when selecting the 12 Māori housing providers referred to in his press release of 27 November 2024?

Hon Tama Potaka: The 12 providers referred to in my media release at https://www.beehive.govt.nz/release/m%C4%81ori-housing-partnership-deliver-198-affordable-rental-homes were chosen by the Ministry of Housing and Urban Development based on their existing Māori Housing investment and assessment criteria. Who they work with in delivering the 198 affordable rentals is up to them.
