Francisco Hernandez to the Minister for Tertiary Education and Skills: What consultations did the Minister’s departments, if any, open with employees on the week beginning 25 November 2024, regarding any changes to employment roles, employment numbers and any other employment conditions, and what date are any such consultations expected to close?

Hon Penny Simmonds: I am advised by the Tertiary Education Commission, New Zealand Qualifications Authority and Education New Zealand that no consultations were opened with employees on the week beginning 25 November 2024. With regard to the Ministry of Education, I refer the Member to the Minister of Education’s response to written parliamentary question 78614 (2024).
