Hon Penny Simmonds: The consultants engaged by Te Pūkenga have been directed to work with management to prioritise assessing the financial viability of individual business divisions. While broader public good impacts have sometimes been identified, the consultants were not engaged to conduct any formal analysis on the public good impact that the financial improvement initiatives may have. Such impacts will be considered as part of final decisions and implementation.
