77224 (2024). Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister of Health: What progress, if any, has been made as at 2 December 2024 toward the recommendation ‘Best practice learning system and continuous improvement’ in Te Whatu Ora’s ‘BreastScreen Aotearoa Quality Improvement Action Plan’?

Hon Dr Shane Reti: I am advised that BreastScreen Aotearoa's operations are underpinned by the National Policy and Quality Standards. These standards are being reviewed to help to ensure providers are continually working towards quality improvements, and that their performance can be appropriately monitored and reported. I also refer the Member to my response to Written Parliamentary Question 38182 (2024).
