77188 (2024). Dr Lawrence Xu-Nan to the Minister of Education: Does the Ministry of Education pay for Te Ahu o te reo Māori courses for teachers if they do not complete the course; if so, is it the same cost as completing the course?

Hon Erica Stanford: The Ministry pays Te Ahu o te Reo Māori course providers based on the number of participants that register for courses, not the number of participants that complete a course. There is no difference in the amount paid by the Ministry whether a participant completes the course or not.
