77185 (2024). Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister of Health: How many sites, if any, are providing breast screening services for women aged 70-74 in the Nelson Marlborough District, as at 28 November 2024, listed by facility and the number of staff who are qualified to provide those services?

Hon Dr Shane Reti: I am advised that there are two sites in the Nelson Marlborough district providing BreastScreen Aotearoa services as part of the age extension: Pacific Radiology Nelson and Wairau Hospital Radiology. There is also a mobile unit which visits Te Awhina Marae and Takaka. Breakdown of staffing, across all sites, is: • Lead Radiologist 0.05 FTE • Charge Medical Imaging Technologist 0.6 FTE • Radiologists 0.7 FTE • Medical Imaging Technologists 3.5 FTE • Breast Care Nurses 1.2 FTE
