Hon Karen Chhour: I am advised by Oranga Tamariki that the Principal Advisor Operational Support is responsible for: • Providing the National Director with information required to respond to the Minister, Oranga Tamariki Leadership, Ombudsman, and other relevant parties. • Providing support to manage and respond to risks relating to Residences and Homes acting as the key contact for emergency management and business continuity. • Identifying improvement opportunities across the Residences and Homes network, ensuring that operational units are aligned in their delivery. • Responsible for designing key strategic shifts in the operating model. I am further advised that there is no set percentage for this role that is youth justice specific. It is dependent on the operational needs and focus at the time for the Youth Justice Services and Residential Care group.
