76916 (2024). Francisco Hernandez to the Minister of Health: How many roles, if any, were created in the Minister's departments, if any, since 1 November 2024, and what were these roles, if any?

Hon Dr Shane Reti: I am advised that the Ministry of Health has created 21 temporary roles since 1 November 2024. These roles are fixed-term positions using time-limited funding for specific projects. 18 of the 21 temporary roles have been established as part of Phase 2 of the Polynesian Health Corridors five-year programme of work. The remaining three temporary roles are roles created for specific projects and are funded through time-limited funding. The Ministry is unable to provide specific job titles in order to protect the privacy of individuals.
