76898 (2024). Francisco Hernandez to the Minister for the Environment: How many roles, if any, were created in the Minister's departments, if any, since 1 November 2024, and what were these roles, if any?

Hon Penny Simmonds: I am advised that no roles have been created at the Ministry for the Environment since 1 November 2024. The Environmental Protection Authority has created 10 permanent roles since 1 November 2024. These roles were created following the disestablishment of 48 roles, as part of a change process to reduce workforce size. 12 roles have also been temporarily created to support the implementation of the Fast Track Approvals Bill.
