Hon Brooke van Velden: When aides-mémoire, briefings, memos, notes, reports, or any other advice, are considered for proactive release on MBIE’s website, the usual process is for relevant business groups to assess and make decisions on information related to their area. Consultation with relevant departments and agencies is conducted as appropriate. Respective managers will then sign out the documents for proactive release, which then come to my office for final approval. My office and I work with WorkSafe officials and receive advice on titles that should be released or withheld.
