Hon Dr Shane Reti: I am advised that Health New Zealand has been working through a period of socialisation with staff on a number of options. This has included a focus on opportunities for savings in areas such as IT and Telecommunications spend; the timing of discretionary project spend, and ways of working. Union briefings were also held during the October and November period.
