76854 (2024). Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister of Health: What contingency plans, if any, are in place to ensure continuity of IT services at Health NZ if staff reductions lead to critical gaps in expertise or response capacity?

Hon Dr Shane Reti: I am advised that Health New Zealand is working through the appropriate transitional arrangements and planning to implement the final decisions once these are made, following consultation on the change proposal. As part of consultation, senior managers are discussing potential impacts and mitigating actions with clinical and regional leadership teams.
