76835 (2024). Francisco Hernandez to the Minister for Tertiary Education and Skills: How many roles, if any, were created in the Minister's departments, if any, since 1 November 2024, and what were these roles, if any?

Hon Penny Simmonds: Tertiary Education Commission has created one fixed term role (Specialist Advisor) since 1 November 2024 dedicated to the Ministerial Work Programme. This role has been filled internally with existing FTE/baseline I have been advised that no new roles were created at the New Zealand Qualification's Authority since 1 November 2024. For the Ministry of Education, I refer the member to the Minister of Education’s response to written parliamentary question 76891 (2024). I am advised by Education New Zealand that there have not been any new roles created sine 1 November 2024.
