76801 (2024). Camilla Belich to the Minister for Emergency Management and Recovery: What advice, if any, has the Minister received regarding National Geohazards Monitoring Centre, GeoNet and the National Seismic Hazard Model, and from whom?

Hon Mark Mitchell: I regularly seek and am provided advice by officials from the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) and the Ministry of Business Innovation and Employment (MBIE) on matters concerning the National geohazards Monitoring Centre, GeoNet and the National seismic Hazard Model. This advice primarily relates to the performance, budget, and potential impacts of Government policy on GeoNet.
