76750 (2024). Hon Willow-Jean Prime to the Minister for Children: Further to 72750 (2024), have the total savings from the organisational restructure been allocated back to Oranga Tamariki, and if not, how much in an absolute dollar amount has?

Hon Karen Chhour: No. I am advised that $48,050,000 in savings over four years from the organisational restructure remains within the Oranga Tamariki baseline. However this initiative also contributes to the baseline savings target for Oranga Tamariki. Overall, Oranga Tamariki received more funding than it returned through Budget 2024.
