76538 (2024). Hon Willow-Jean Prime to the Minister for Social Development and Employment: How much, if anything, did the Ministry of Social Development, as a children's agency, spend in financial year 2023/2024 on Oranga Tamariki-related activities and/or services, disaggregated by activity or service?

Hon Louise Upston: I am advised by the Ministry of Social Development (the Ministry) that the Ministry does not allocate expenditure specifically to ‘Oranga Tamariki-related activities’. Working with Oranga Tamariki and with families and caregivers at various stages of involvement with Oranga Tamariki is part of the Ministry’s business as usual. This is also my response to written parliamentary question 76537 (2024).
