76516 (2024). Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister for Tertiary Education and Skills: How many midwifery students who are Māori, who commenced their studies in 2021, if any, ceased their course of study prematurely in the fourth year of their studies?

Hon Penny Simmonds: I am advised by the Ministry of Education (the Ministry) that the requested information is not yet available. Final full-year data relating to students leaving study in 2024 will not be available until 2026. Attrition rates allow a year post withdrawal for a student to return.
