75830 (2024). Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister of Health: What actions, if any, have been taken in the quarter July to September 2024 to redistribute demand in the primary and community health care sector to non-medical work forces?

Hon Dr Shane Reti: I am advised that during the July to September 2024 quarter, Health New Zealand continued to work with Primary Health Organisations and other providers to maximise the uptake of Comprehensive Primary and Community Care Teams funding. The intent of this funding is to extend the delivery of primary care services across a broader range of clinical and non-clinical roles.
