75806 (2024). Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister of Health: What actions, if any, have been taken in the quarter July to September 2024 to grow our numbers of student placements for kaupapa Māori and Pacific providers, and in primary and community settings?

Hon Dr Shane Reti: I am advised that during the July to September 2024 quarter, work continued on the first iteration of a Student Placement Digital Coordination Tool. Once implemented, this tool is expected to support more placements in community settings, including with kaupapa Māori, Pacific and primary care providers.
