Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister of Health: What progress, if any, has been made in the quarter July to September 2024 toward implementing the recommendation ‘Update documents, including policies, standard operating procedures and manuals, to support smooth knowledge transfer’ under ‘Recommendations for HealthCERT and other stakeholders’ in the ‘Ngā Paerewa Implementation Evaluation’ independent report?

Hon Dr Shane Reti: I am advised that good progress was made toward this recommendation in the quarter July to September 2024. Policies and procedures are being prioritised by HealthCERT for updating and will be completed incrementally. I am further advised that this work will not have an end date, as policies and procedures require review and updating on a regular basis.
