Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister of Health: What progress, if any, has been made in the quarter July to September 2024 on the proposed action ‘as part of the acute flow framework, outline minimum expectations and develop a kite of resources to support great whanau experience across the acute care journey. This includes consideration of the Manaaki Mana Strategy’ under ‘Strategic Priority Area 1: Implementing national frameworks, guidelines and terminology’ within Te Whatu Ora’s ‘Acute Care Plan 2024’?

Hon Dr Shane Reti: I am advised that during the July to September 2024 quarter, Acute Flow Operational Standards were developed to assist patient flow, which supports a better whānau experience. The standards were developed with the input of whānau and the consumer voice team. This action is now complete.
