75766 (2024). Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister of Health: What progress, if any, has been made in the quarter July to September 2024 on the proposed action ‘agree and implement a nationally consistent acute care data dictionary (e.g. the ACEM Policy on Standard Terminology)’ under ‘Strategic Priority Area 3: Data, insights, and intelligence’ within Te Whatu Ora’s ‘Acute Care Plan 2024’?

Hon Dr Shane Reti: I am advised that during the July to September 2024 quarter, this action was closed on the acute care work programme, and responsbility for the work was transferred to Health New Zealand's data and analytics team. I am further advised that while the work will be progressed over the next 12 months, limited progress was made during the quarter due to other data work being prioritised.
