Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister of Health: What progress, if any, has been made in the quarter July to September 2024 on the proposed action ‘Based on baseline data (3.1), develop and begin implementing an improvement and delivery plan at a regional level’ under ‘Strategic Priority Area 5: Driving operational improvement’ within Te Whatu Ora’s ‘Acute Care Plan 2024’?

Hon Dr Shane Reti: I am advised that during the July to September 2024 quarter, all districts developed a high-level 'shorter stays in emergency departments' implementation plan. This action is now complete.
