75706 (2024). Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister of Health: Is the number '3,8156' on page 68 of the Ministry of Health's annual report for the year ended 30 June 2024 an error, and if so, what is the correct figure?

Hon Dr Shane Reti: I am advised by the Ministry of Health, the number the Member has referenced has been incorrectly transposed when officials were rounding the comparative raw data for 31 March 2020 (3,815.6) for the 30 June 2024 Annual Report. The number for ambulatory sensitive hospitalisations (ASH) for adults aged 45–64 years for (All ethnicities) group for ‘12 months to March 2020’ in the Annual Report for the year ended 30 June 2024, should be 3,816. Ministry officials have made the correction to the online version of the Annual Report for the year ended 30 June 2024.
