75701 (2024). Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister of Health: Why are the numbers contained in the table on page 72 of the Ministry of Health's annual report for the year ended 30 June 2024 presented as whole numbers, except for the last column which is presented to one decimal place?
Hon Dr Shane Reti: I am advised by the Ministry of Health; it has reported data on ‘People report they can get primary healthcare when they need it’ in the Annual Report for the year ended 30 June 2024. This data was provided to the Ministry by the Health Quality & Safety Commission (HQSC).
I am further advised that Ministry officials have checked with officials from HQSC, who have confirmed that the one decimal place for the numbers (rather than using whole numbers for the entire table) in the 2023/24 column is not material to the overall data as reported.
