75668 (2024). Hon Willow-Jean Prime to the Minister for Children: What services, if any, are provided to participants on the Oranga Tamariki military-style academy pilot programme during the transition phase?

Hon Karen Chhour: I am advised that during the residential stage of the Military-Style Academy pilot, each young person was supported to develop an individualised ‘community good life plan’. These plans identified the services that each young person (and their family/whānau where relevant) would need access to during the transition phase. Examples of services that form part of individual plans include vocational training services, mental health services and parenting coaching.
