Hon Dr Duncan Webb to the Associate Minister of Education: Does the Associate Minister of Education agree with the recent statement by Chair of the Te Pohue Community and District Trust Norm Brown on the subject of 2024 bus cuts by the Ministry of Education: “Anyone who doesn’t think this will result in truancy doesn’t know the challenges, barriers and costs faced by those in rural areas in getting their kids to school”; if not, why not?
