75548 (2024). Francisco Hernandez to the Prime Minister: What guidance, if any, has the Minister's departments, if any, given staff regarding attendance at Hikoi mō te Tiriti on 19 November 2024?

Rt Hon Christopher Luxon: In my capacity as the Prime Minister, I am the Responsible Minister for the Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet (DPMC). The National Emergency Management Agency is a departmental agency hosted by the DPMC. I am advised that guidance was provided to DPMC and NEMA staff regarding attendance at Hikoi mō te Tiriti on 19 November 2024 in line with the Public Service Commission’s guidance on political neutrality for public servants.
