75524 (2024). Francisco Hernandez to the Minister for Māori Crown Relations: Te Arawhiti: What guidance, if any, has the Minister's departments, if any, given staff regarding attendance at Hikoi mō te Tiriti on 19 November 2024?

Hon Tama Potaka: I am advised that the Office for Māori-Crown Relations: Te Arawhiti provided guidance to its staff on their obligations as public servants to be politically neutral and their rights as citizens to participate in the hīkoi, as long as they do so on their own time and are not identifiable as a public servant or discuss their work.
