75415 (2024). Francisco Hernandez to the Minister of Customs: What guidance, if any, has the Minister's departments, if any, given staff regarding attendance at Hikoi mō te Tiriti on 19 November 2024?

Hon Casey Costello: I am advised that two updates were published on Customs’ staff intranet in relation to the Hīkoi, raising awareness about the potential disruption of travel and additional traffic, and reminding staff of their responsibilities as public servants and the Public Service Commission guidance titled ‘Political Neutrality – personal political activity’. An email was also sent to Wellington staff advising of the potential disruption of travel.
