75387 (2024). Hon Jan Tinetti to the Minister of Internal Affairs: Does she stand by her statement “Further regulations will be developed on the detailed rules around advertising, as well as harm minimisation and consumer protection requirements.”, if so, is it her intention that these new regulations around advertising will come into force at the same time as the new regime for online casino-type gambling?

Hon Brooke van Velden: Yes. It is my intention that the consumer protection regulations will come into force by the time the new regime is operational.
