75381 (2024). Francisco Hernandez to the Minister of Agriculture: What guidance, if any, has the Minister's departments, if any, given staff regarding attendance at Hikoi mō te Tiriti on 19 November 2024?

Hon Todd McClay: None, however I am advised that because of the Ministry for Primary Industries’ (MPI’s) Wellington offices’ proximity to Parliament, MPI regularly provides staff based in its Wellington offices with general guidance regarding travel delays, safety and security, and Te Kawa Mataaho’s guidance for public servants when events take place on Parliament grounds. https://www.publicservice.govt.nz/role-and-purpose/integrity-and-conduct/principles-guidance/politically-neutral/political-neutrality-for-public-servants-as-individuals
