75375 (2024). Francisco Hernandez to the Minister responsible for RMA Reform: What guidance, if any, has the Minister's departments, if any, given staff regarding attendance at Hikoi mō te Tiriti on 19 November 2024?

Hon Chris Bishop: I am advised that staff at the Ministry for the Environment were notified that, "it is important to note that expressing political views are unlikely to breach neutrality obligations expected of public servants, provided that they do so in their own time, and do not identify their opinions with, or as though they are, the opinion of the Ministry".
