75350 (2024). Francisco Hernandez to the Minister for Regulation: What guidance, if any, has the Minister's departments, if any, given staff regarding attendance at Hikoi mō te Tiriti on 19 November 2024?

Hon David Seymour: Officials advise that Ministry for Regulation staff were reminded in their weekly newsletter, and verbally in their weekly meeting, that the Public Service Commission provides guidance on how to navigate their roles as public servants and as citizens. This includes the requirement to consider the impact of political activity on their roles as public servants, to ensure that any political activity occurs in their own time, is not associated with the Ministry, and does not use Ministry resources.
