Hon Mark Mitchell: As the Minister for Emergency Management and Recovery, I regularly request and receive advice from officials on matters relating to my Emergency Management and Recovery portfolio. I received the following documents from officials in the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) and the Chief Executive, Cyclone Recovery between 11-15 November 2024: • Nelson Tasman CDEM Long Service Awards, 12 November 2024 • Final Cabinet paper – Strengthening disaster resilience and emergency management: legislative implications, 13 November 2024 • NEMA Fortnightly Status Report to the Minister for Emergency Management and Recovery, 14 November 2024. I received one document on 13 November 2024. It is not in the public interest to release the title of this document. In addition, jointly with the Prime Minister I have received the following document: Cyclone Recovery Weekly Update on Categorisation, Buyouts, and Sediment Removal, 13 November 2024. In addition, I received the following document from the Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet (DPMC): Brief to the Minister, 11 November 2024. In addition, staff in my office may informally receive documents, including draft documents, from officials in NEMA and the DPMC and from other agencies, and from Ministers’ offices.
