Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister of Health: What progress, if any, has been made in the quarter April to June 2024 in actioning the recommendation ‘Te Whatu Ora and Te Aka Whai Ora work with the Nursing Council of New Zealand to support the inclusion of vaccinator training in all appropriate Nurse Entry to Practice programmes (first year of Registered Nurse practice)’ under ‘Priority Area 2: Authorisation of childhood vaccinators’ within the ‘Initial Priorities for the National Immunisation Programme in Aotearoa 2022’?

Hon Dr Shane Reti: I am advised that this recommendation was not progressed during the April to June 2024 quarter, but was scheduled to begin in the following quarter.
