Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister of Health: What progress, if any, has been made in the quarter April to June 2024 in actioning the recommendation ‘Prioritise on-time vaccination and reposition outreach services to proactively support achieving this for priority populations’ under ‘Priority Area 5: Proactive outreach immunisation services’ within the ‘Initial Priorities for the National Immunisation Programme in Aotearoa 2022’?

Hon Dr Shane Reti: I am advised that during the April to June 2024 quarter, an initial stocktake of regional outreach immunisation service providers was undertaken and reported to the National Immunisation Taskforce Governance Group. Further work is underway, which will be used to inform the design of future service models. I am further advised that the general practice immunisation pre-call and recall funding package was established.
