Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister of Health: What progress, if any, has been made in the quarter July to September 2024 on the priority action ‘review the current use of navigators across the health system to identify and strengthen what is working well and fill gaps in places where culturally safe navigators could improve connections for disabled people and their whānau, ensuring consistency across regions’ within ‘Priority 2: Ensure the health system is designed by and accessible for disabled people and their whānau and provides models of care that suit their needs’ as part of the Ministry of Health’s ‘Provisional Health of Disabled People Strategy: 2023’?
