74126 (2024). Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister of Health: What progress, if any, has been made in the quarter July to September 2024 on the priority action ‘support the health workforce to build the skills, capabilities and competencies needed to meet the breadth of health and wellbeing needs of the diverse disabled population, including rights-based and cultural safety training to enable the workforce to identify their biases and training to eliminate ableism, racism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia and other forms of discrimination from the health system’ within ‘Priority 4: Build health workforce capacity and capability to meet the needs of disabled people and their whānau’ as part of the Ministry of Health’s ‘Provisional Health of Disabled People Strategy: 2023’?
